Read to Rio

The race to Rio has really heated up and we have nearly reached our target of 6222 miles. Pupils have been reading pages to match the number of miles to Rio where the next Olympic Games will happen. Terrific Torry have overtaken Glorious Grampian in the race.

Apple Store visit

Our last Apple Store visits finished today. The pupils and staff have declared it the best trip ever! The workshops were connected to Literacy and Creativity.    

Read to Rio

Our current House Challenge of Read to Rio has had a great start with Glorious Grampian leading the way at 1533 miles so far. The Houses have to read 6022 pages which equals the miles from Aberdeen to Rio de Janerio before the end of term. Keep on reading!

World Book Day -3rd March 2016

World Book Day will be celebrated at Walker Road with a come as your favourite book character day. This is for fun although there will be a prize for the top 3 costumes. We will also have other activities over the course of the day.

Apple Store visits for P5-7

P5-7 have been offered the opportunity to attend the Apple Store for workshops at Union Square. They will have opportunities to play with various apps which will support their creativity and Literacy skills. This is from Thursday 18th February to Friday 26th February and more info for each class will follow next week.
