The Two Communities project got off to a flying start on Tuesday 17th January with 251 pupils gathering together to meet each other and undertake some co-operative learning tasks. Feedback from all pupils was incredibly positive and pupils were keen to get started. The first two weeks of activities has been a huge success and pupils have responded really positively to meeting new people and experiencing new activities.
A huge thank you must go to the staff who have, as usual, undertaken the challenge of this project with a high level of positivity. Walker Road staff have been sharing their skills with pupils from across the two school groups and learning from each other. There are another 6 weeks of activities before we meet as a whole group to celebrate the work of the project and recognise the hard work and achievement of our pupils and staff.
